About CS2-Inventory.com
CS2-Inventory.com is an independent calculator for Counter-Strike 2 inventories. We built it because every other tool either asked for a Steam login or hid simple price breakdowns behind paid tiers.

How it started
The site launched in 2024 as a one-page tool that valued a Steam inventory using public Steam Market prices. Since then we've added Buff163 reference pricing, sticker breakdowns, float detection, pattern indexing for Doppler/Fade/Case Hardened, and translations into 18 languages. Today the site processes thousands of inventory checks a month for casual players, traders, and professional collectors.
How we calculate values
Every item in your inventory is matched against its Steam Community Market hash and priced using Steam's published 7-day median sale price, refreshed every 24 hours. Where Buff163 data is available we surface it as a secondary reference. We do not invent prices, we do not extrapolate, and we do not include items that have no recent sale history. For high-value items we recommend cross-checking with the live Steam Market listing before any trade.
Tech stack
Built with Next.js 15 (App Router) and React 19, deployed on Scaleway. The pricing pipeline pulls Steam Market data on a 24-hour schedule and serves results from a global cache so even large inventories return in under two seconds. Source code is closed but the API contract for inventory lookups is documented for legitimate scrapers.
Who writes here
Articles are written by CS2 players and traders who have personally bought, sold, and held the items they write about. Every author has a public profile page on the site with their experience, credentials, and the article history that backs up what they say.

Mike has been buying, holding, and trading Counter-Strike skins since 2017. He focuses on Steam Market mechanics, multi-marketplace arbitrage between Steam, Buff163 and DMarket, and the long-term economics of operations and case discontinuation. Outside of writing for cs2-inventory.com, Mike actively manages a personal CS2 inventory and runs price-tracking spreadsheets to validate every claim he publishes.
